Important: The development branch installs as 2.4.x-dev
Description
The branch alias of the development branch 2 of fgtclb/ is
keyed to the version name Composer gives that branch, 2.. It was keyed to
dev-, a name Composer never gives a branch called 2, and Composer skips
such an alias without a warning. 2. therefore did not exist, and no
requirement ~2. could be satisfied from the branch.
Impact
2. now exists for fgtclb/. composer require
fgtclb/, or :2., installs the development state
of branch 2, and a requirement ~2. on the package is satisfied from
it.
An inline alias added to a project to work around it, for example
"fgtclb/, is no longer needed and can be
removed.
Released versions are not affected.
Affected Installations
Composer installations that require a package of this repository from its
development branch 2. Classic, non-Composer installations are not affected.
