Introduction

What does it do?

This extension was made to lower the effort when building websites, keep the output code maximum clean and still remain as flexible as possible.

To achieve this, Crystalis has its own content rendering written in pure TypoScript, which avoids outputting of unnecessary CSS classes whenever possible.

A slightly optimized backend increases usability and the Language Service takes the main part of configuring alternative languages by collaborating with extension RealURL.

Furthermore a HTML5 Video content element will be available when working with HTML5 document type and various smaller improvements are making TYPO3-life a lot easier.

The whole extension is subdivided into components which can be deactivated individually, thus your sever won't be ballasted with functionality you are not interested in.

System requirements

At present, the most recent version of crystalis available at TER requires TYPO3 CMS 7.6 LTS. If working with an older version of TYPO3 CMS, you can find appropriate versions of Crystalis for all currently maintained versions at GitHub in the form of separate branches.

Those versions will receive bug fixes until maintenance of the respective TYPO3 CMS version ends.

The Language Service is capable of pre-configuring third-party extension RealURL (realurl) out of the box. If you're planning to make use of this feature, please make sure RealURL is installed as well.
