Disqus can be used without Singe Sign On. But if you consider using the Single Sign On functionality, you have to Configure this on Disqus Side first.Per Default Disqus will not provide any SSO, this has to be requested from the Disqus team. However, the Single Sign On is Free.

Once you gained Access to Single Sign On, you can Configure your Domain and Application here: http://disqus.com/api

All you need to Provide to the Extension now, are the API Keys for your Single Sign On Application. You can find those on the API Page under Application.Needed are: Secret Key and Public Keywords
