Disqus SSO Settings

For Single Sign On, you need to make sure that you configured the API Keys correctly.If you have no API Keys yet, head to theConfigurationsection or the Tutorial section of this Doc.

The Single Sign On Tab provides a couple of Options. For a basic functionality the “Use Disqus Single Sign On?” and the “SSO Login Page” have to be choosen.

Here is a full List of Options with its Description.

  • Use Disqus Single Sign On?: This option activates/deactivates the Single Sign On functionality.
  • SSO Title: The Title defines the alt Text of the Login Button and the Name of your Login once you click the Dropdown for Login on the Top-Right Corner.
  • SSO Login Button (optional): This is what your Login Button looks like, once a Logged-Out User clicks the Text Field in Disqus. There is a Default Login Button used, when empty.
  • SSO Icon (optional): You can define a Disqus Fav Icon. Usualy you can left this empty unless you need the Fav Icon.
  • SSO Login Page: This is a required Option when Single Sign On is used. This should lead to a Login Page. Disqus opens this Page in a new Window. Once the User is logged in and Closes the Window, it reloads the Page with Disqus.
  • SSO Login Window Height/Width: Describes the Height/Width of the Disqus Login Window.
